hey, sorry it wasn't up earlier, i was hanging out with my friend... so my stuffed animal was actually a tiger named Tammy. it was a beanie buddy, but i'm not sure what it's actual name was, i removed the tag and renamed it. it was the first thing i bought with my own money when i was about 6, and i loved that thing so much. i still have it. but i have a lot of stuffed animals lol. --- "That child," she said, "He has really gone too far this time. I can't believe Justin would play a game like this." "So it's not true?" "No." "Then show me the pictures on your computer." "What?" "Justin said he found the pictures on your computer. So either show me they're not there or show me they're not date stamped what they are in these." "If he photoshoped them he would have saved them like that." "Enough with the lies Lauren!" I shouted. "I'm sorry, Kevin, I'm so so sorry." I got up and turned my back to her, shaking my head, not sure what to say. "You had been gone a couple of weeks, and I just missed you so much, and I was so lonely, and Shawn just randomly called, and I don't know why I did it." "Do you... have feelings for him?" I asked without looking at her. "Well, Shawn and I were together a long time, so I still care about him." I started towards the door, but she continued. "But not in the same way I care about you." I stopped walking but didn't face her. "I've never cared about anyone the way I care about you, Kevin. And that's why when I realized what I had done, I told Shawn that I couldn't be anything more than friends with him." "But you didn't tell me." "I know, I didn't wanna hurt you." I put my hand to my forehead and shook my head. "I gotta think." "Kevin," she pleaded, and I could hear her tears. But I couldn't forgive her just like that. I needed time to think this over, figure out what to do, so I opened the door and walked out of the house.
{Joe's P.O.V.} We got to the next city that evening. I took Riley to her room to settle her. I wasn't sure what my parents had said to her parents, but they had gone along with everything. I put the bags down on the ground and she sat on the bed, still clutching her tiger. "Baby, you hungry?" I asked, sitting down next to her and putting my arm around her waist. She nodded and rested her head back on my chest. "Okay, let's get something." "We going to the hotel restaurant?" I could barely hear her she was so quiet. "I was thinking we could get something sent up here so we could eat just the two of us." Truth was, I had a plan. I had even already called the hotel about it. "Yeah, I'd like that." "Okay, something you want or do you want to see a menu?" "Just a chicken sandwich or something." "Could have guessed that," I said, kissing her nose and standing up. She smiled a little. "I'm just gonna call, I'll be right back." I walked into the other room of the suite and called room service. "Hi this is Joe Jonas I called earlier... yes, she wants a chicken sandwich... perfect... yes everything else the same... thank you very much... half an hour, great... bye." I went into the other room and found Riley hugging her knees up in front of her. "Half an hour, babe, you wanna try to get some sleep in that time? You look tired." "Will you lie with me?" "If that's what you want." She nodded slightly, so I went to her, lifted her up, put her back on the bed, and lay down next to her, taking her in my arms. Then I started singing to her until she fell asleep. But it only took a couple of minutes before she was asleep. She was exhausted after all. I felt so horrible that she was hurting so bad and there was nothing I could do to stop it. But hopefully tonight would convince her that things would get better from here. I pulled the piece of paper out of my pocket. I was nervous, more nervous than I had been in awhile. It was kind of ridiculous though. I mean, this wasn't too much bigger than anything I had already done, right? I looked back down at her. She was still clutching her old tiger. It was really cute actually. She had loved that thing all her childhood. I remembered her taking it everywhere with her when she was about 5. She even brought it to church. Then when she got older, I could always tell when she was upset by whether she had taken it out from the basket of stuffed animals at the end of the bed. I pushed hair out of her face. I still couldn't get over how beautiful she was, and I wasn't sure how I was lucky enough to be able to call her mine. Now that she was sleeping, the pain that had become customary in her face was gone. But I knew that eventually she'd have to wake up, and the pain would come back, and the thought of that broke my heart. There was a knock on the door. -- what's joe's plan? will kevin forgive lauren? please comment and rate! question: what is a commercial that really bothers you? (haha i know it's random but i have one that i wanna vent about lol)
